Objectives of the Network of Production Sites for the Visual Arts in Catalonia
The common strategic objectives of the network are:
1. To provide information to and streamline communication among all members in order to optimise each member’s resources and transfer specialist knowledge and exchange among programmes of a complementary nature.
2. To seek joint solutions for specific problems at sites for the production of visual arts in order to provide stability to each member’s projects.
3. To prompt greater visibility on the basis of the specific nature of the sites and greater acknowledgement of the work that each site performs.
4. To convert the network into a valid mediator with the public authorities on matters of artistic production.
5. To help to establish production standards, the implementation of good practices in production, and the development of artistic practice in general.
6. To obtain and manage resources that encourage common projects in the network.
